How do I start a mahjong club on Bam Good Time?+
Visit bamgoodtime.com/start, create your free account, name your club, and you're ready to create your first event. The whole process takes about 2 minutes. Free clubs can host up to 2 events per month.
Is Bam Good Time free?+
There's a free tier that lets you create a club and host up to 2 events per month. Paid plans (Starter at $19/month and Pro at $49/month) unlock unlimited events, leagues, analytics, discount codes, and more.
What is the Mahjic app?+
Mahjic Mahjong for Mac is the native desktop companion app for Bam Good Time. It gives club organizers a fast, native experience for managing their club. Available free on the Mac App Store. A mobile version is coming soon.
For Club Organizers
How do players register for my events?+
Players can register directly through your club's event page on bamgoodtime.com. They'll see event details, pricing, and available spots. You can also enable self-check-in so players can check themselves in when they arrive.
Can I charge for events?+
Yes — Bam Good Time integrates with Stripe for payments. Players can pay when they register. You can also offer series passes (pay for multiple events upfront) and punch card packages.
How do leagues work?+
You can create leagues with customizable rotation patterns and scoring. The platform tracks standings, manages round-by-round scoring, and handles table assignments. Great for competitive play.
Can I import my existing member list?+
Yes — you can import contacts via CSV file. The system will match existing players and create new contact records for anyone not yet in the system.

Do I need an account to register for events?+
You can browse events without an account, but you'll need to create a free account to register and pay for events.
What is American Mahjong?+
American Mahjong (also spelled Mahjongg) is a tile-based game played with four players using a set of 166 tiles. It follows rules set by the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) and uses a card that changes annually. It's a social game that combines strategy, pattern recognition, and a bit of luck.
