About This Lesson
Our Beginner Lesson is a fun, hands-on introduction to American Mahjong designed to make learning simple and approachable. In this 90-minute class, you’ll learn tile identification, how to read the Mahjong card, Charleston and passing, game flow, strategy basics, and how to call tiles and declare Mahjong. We keep classes small (8 players per teacher) so everyone receives personal guidance and the chance to play a full hand. You’ll leave feeling confident and ready to play.
