About This Lesson
Learn the “OG” of mahjong styles with this introductory lesson to Chinese/Hong Kong style mahjong with guest instructor Julia Downes of Bamboo Haus Mahjong. Learn the history of the game, how to read the tiles, the rules of picking and discarding, and how to form winning hands without a card. By the end of the lesson you will be playing a game! This lesson will prepare you for leveling up and playing for points. This is an easy and fun style of mahjong if you want to dip your toes into something new or expand your mahjong knowledge!
